Emma is one of the sweetest people ever ! Such a warm welcoming and the cutest coziest environment. She made us feel right at home! The breakfast was absolutely delicious starting with orange cranberry bread, option for fruit/coffee, followed by eggs Benedict or choice of eggs however you would like! I am currently pregnant and Emma went out of her way to accommodate for me due to a change in plans. We cannot wait to come back this fall! You will love your stay

Absolutely loved the Inn. Very cozy and beautiful. The Inn Keeper was super attentive and the breakfast was so good. The room was spacious and comfortable. My only wish is that they had more hooks around to hang stuff from, but other than that I would choose to at the Ballard everytime.

We enjoyed staying at this lovely historic inn. This is a great place to stay if attending a concert at Bank of NH Pavilion (we found out at breakfast 6 other guests attended the same concert!) Room was beautifully decorated and clean, bed was very comfortable with a wonderful view of the lakes in the distance. Owners were very nice and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious with made-to-order omelets, fresh fruit, homemade banana bread, choice of juice, and tea or coffee. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here if we are in the area again.

Beautiful historic inn with lots of charm! Friendly new owner who was very helpful. Home cooked breakfast was a bonus. Location is short distance to Meredith Bay and Gilford music venue and has its own great mountain views out back. Our room was small but quaint. Only recommendation is to update bedding, especially pillows and could use a gel mattress topper. Would definitely visit again!

The Ballard House Inn is a fantastic vacation destination!!! Darryl, the owner, is so gracious and friendly. His family who work with him are also such wonderful people ! Our room was great and so clean! The breakfast was delicious! The view from the back deck is spectacular! The common sitting rooms are cozy and beautiful! If you our vacationing in the lake Winnipesaukee area, stay at the Ballard House Inn, you'll be glad you did !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed here for Laconia Bike Week 2026. What a surprise, I figured we were getting a room. Great location, great Breakfast, snacks and beverages were complimentary. They let us keep our bike in the garage. Way more than we expected.
